MERRY CHRISTMAS
Yes.. I'm back from Vietnam on 23rd Dec. Will share more on my trip maybe in my next blog. But anyway, it has been a good trip. =D
Hmm.. i'll share on wat i did for the past few days since i touched down. The first surprise i got was actually at the airport.. but then i got to know that surprise before the surprise came so it didnt turn out to be a surprise. Haa.. are u lost?!? My fren agreed to come and pick me up but then told me when i called her after the plane touched down that she couldnt make it. (But the truth was.. she and another of my fren were oredi at the airport waiting for me!) Hearing that, i was a abit disappointed cos it means i would have to take cab home myself.. lugging with me all the heavy stuff. Anyway, since they wanted to play a prank on me and surprise me, they were afraid that they might miss me and i would have really gone to take a cab.. so one of them msg me. Being deprived of using my HP.. i immediately called her house and her husband picked up the call. Not knowing that her wife and my fren are out to surprise me.. he told me that she has oredi gone to the airport to pick me up. So at that time, the surprise was gone.. the cat was out. Haa.. i then purposely took my time and look ard in the DFS shop while waiting for my team mates. I took like half hr before i went to collect my luggage. Not seeing me out for so long...my fren kept calling me to ensure that i'm still in the airport. Finally i went out... i acted surprised when i saw them and i kept smiling so they kept asking my why. When i went into the car.. i told them the whole thing... and it ended up that i was 'playing' them instead of them 'playing' me. Haa..
Christmas eve - the whole afternoon was spent on uploading my photos. Then went down to town to get some gifts for the kids and my niece. Then rush down to a christmas party which i was 2 hrs late cos my frenz didnt want me to go so i continued shopping with them till 9pm(party was supposed to be at 730pm). The party was with the worship ministry people.. felt a bit bad.. didnt get anything for them and i recieved alots of presents from them. This yr christmas is juz too rush for me. Dun have time to shop at all.. and besides shopping wasnt fantastic in Hanoi.. at least for me! I only got a belt and a 2nd hand sweater for my self.. which cost less than S$10 in total. That's how bad it was. So really couldnt find nice christmas present there. Stayed at the party till abt 2am then headed down to Sentosa with joleen, celine, rhoda, joyce and johanan. It was juz something special. Spending our Christmas morning by the beach. We played cards and talked and only left Sentosa at abt 730am. It funniest thing that happened was when all of us gals wanted to go to the toilet and there was no switch and was pitch dark. We brought one tealight with us and opened the door while we pee.. (1 pee, 4 standing on guard). The toilet system was automatic.. so after the first person pee.. it flushes automatically.. and joyce let out a scream and everyone of us screamed too.. haaaa.. it was really funny.. we were all scaring ourselves in the middle of the nite. After leaving Sentosa.. went for breakfast and only reached home at 10plus and slept till 4pm. Then wrapped some of my prezzie and head to another christmas dinner. Eat and played taboo there.. It's juz great to be back HOME and hanging around with your frenz.. feel so comfortable together with them. Dun get me wrong.. i did make some nice frenz in my trip over there but it's juz different... they are NEW frenz.. u juz dun get the same kind of feeling. =p
I received alot of prezzie this yr.. and i really like them all.. they all look so nice. Hmm.. maybe thru the trip i have learnt to appreciate everything. Haa..
Anyway, shall stop here.. need to wake up early tml for church. I so glad that it's Sunday tml.. haaaa.. really miss going to church.. being in the presence of God.. with everyone. It's juz so different. =)
Ooo.. yah.. before i go.. need to share this. It's a testimony! I PASSED ALL MY PAPERS!!! (that includes my last paper which i tot i would have failed.. haa.. the one that i cried for) Really thank God...amazingly i got a B- for that paper! Tho' most of my frenz are more confident than me in that paper... i've actually scored better than them!!! It's really a miracle. Praise the Lord. And I have improved in my CAP score. Not much tho' but i considered my results as GREAT! haaa.. never thot i would have scored so well for all my modules. =D
