HMMM...
Blogging at the request of joleen. See... joleen, me and joyce give u so much face! haaa.. Been a long time since i last blog. Been busy with projects and my lab report.
Nearly cried in my lab while doing my practical last monday... Haven't recovered from my sickness then and I was so lost at what i was doing. Couldn't identify my unknown while others in the lab were oredi doing extraction. I was scared stiff... even the teaching assistants didnt know what to do and i have to take up my courage to ask the terror lecturer who always shoot u with lots of questions. But thank God he was nice that day to me at least... sat down and explain the whole thing to me for abt 10 mins. I finally understood and did it... but LO AND BEHOLD... I then realised that i did the whole thing wrongly on wed when i thought back. Sigh... No wonder my compound that are extracted out turned out to be quite weird. And true enough... after doing all the analysis today... realised it was all wrong. Redid my extraction again and left with pathetically little sample. Hope that'll be enough for my experiment next wk. Getting more sample from the lecturer will cause a deduction of 5-20% from the experiment depending on how much u sample i need. Sighh.. And i still cant identify my compund!! Dunno how to start on my experiment next wk if i still cant identify them by next mon. Scary experiment!! That's why i hate organic chemistry practicals.
Anyway, have been praying for favour every week i attend this prac after i kena shoot by the lecturer on my first prac.. lost form.. but these 2 weeks he has been quite nice to me... today too... he didnt question me when i asked him some stuff and even ask me to ask the teaching assistants for help.. and said that if they tell me the wrong thing or they didnt know how to solve my problem.. tell him.. he'll "kick them on their butt"... that's very unlike of him to joke!! Hmmm... favour of God! Praying hard that next week will be okay.. last week of prac and i got to go see him personally and have an "interview" with him on my compound!!! This is really scary... most of the pple have done that today and everyone came out feeling more stressed with lots of questions shot at them. "BANG!"
School aside, had an enjoyable time at my regional worship rehearsal last sat. Had fun writing and listening to poems about some pple in the ministry. Learning about spontaneous worship... and using words to describe God! It was a rehearsal of adjectives and descriptions. Take abt 1 min and think of words that u can describe God...
60sec...
50sec...
40sec...
30sec...
20sec...
10sec...
Time's up...
What are the words u came out with???
Learnt this song during the rehearsal... look at the words... really beautiful. Have u thought of these words that can be used to describe God. None of us did. Love this song... really proclaiming who God is!
INDESCRIBABLE
Album: Arriving (Chris Tomlin)
From the highest of highs to the depths of the sea
Creation’s revealing Your majesty
From the colours of Fall to the fragrance of Spring
Every creature unique and the song that it sings
All exclaiming
Indescribable, uncontainable
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name
You are amazing God
All powerful, untamable
Awestruck we fall to our knees
As we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God
You are amazing God
Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go?
Or seen heavenly storehouses laiden with snow?
Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light?
Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night
None can fathom
Indescribable, uncontainable
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name
You are amazing God
Incomparable, unchangable
You see the depths of my heart
And You love me the same
You are amazing God
