MC QUEEN
I remembered when I was young i always say my siblings are mc king and queen but now i have become one. =)
Have been on mc quite often recently. Got into an accident at my workplace last week. Tripped over a wire cable and fell flat onto the floor. Everything happened so fast and with something in my hands, there was no support during the fall.. Suffered from contusion. Got 2 days MC. Seen 2 doctors but it has not been getting better. In fact, i felt it has gotten worse over the weekend. I felt the pain more intensely whenever i move. I couldn't talk loud nor sing, cos i would feel the pain on my chest. The pain is even worse when i cough or sneeze. My muscles are being pulled real hard when i do that. OUCH! I cant really stand straight, so been slouching the whole day and back's aching. When i lie down, the pain will be really intense.. cos it's like stretching my muscle, even when i lie on my side, the same thing happen. But the pain will go off after a while if i stay in the same position. And i keep feeling that i dun have enough oxygen going into my lungs.. and so intermittently, i will have to take deep breath which also cause pain.
Went back to work this morning and when my sup found out that i wasnt getting any better, she asked me not to do any work and insisted that i go for an x-ray. Drove me to the clinic at 11 plus, took the x-ray and the doc says it's oki. Might have injured the cartilage on my ribcage on my chest but it will take time to heal. So need rest and was given 1 day MC for today and excuse till end of aug from carrying heavy load.. haha.. like as if i need the doc to write that. My sup also know cannot let me carry heavy things la. She drove me back home after seeing the doc. Thot the doc will give me 2 days MC, go back to work everything also cannot do.. so bored la.. Cos now only rushing for all the pilot plant trials which are over 10, 20KG... and this means i cant do that.
Hopefully it will heal fast.. it's really uncomfortable.. and when i sleep, everytime i changed position i will wake up because of the pain i'm experiencing.
But I do wanna thank God for a good and caring supervisor. I can never agree that female bosses are not good now.. at least i have a really good one. So good that from the day i started working under her everyone told me i'm blessed.. Now i see why. =)
